Materials and processes
Prices depend on the material, how much of it your part uses, and how long the machine is occupied. Upload a file to see real numbers for your geometry.
FDM
Fused deposition modelling. The workhorse: cheapest per part, great for jigs, enclosures, functional prototypes and large pieces.
- Build volume:
- 300 × 300 × 400 mm
- Minimum feature:
- 0.8 mm
- Layer heights:
- 0.3 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.12 mm, 0.08 mm
PLA
Stiff, dimensionally stable, easy to print. Not for outdoor or hot environments.
PETG
Tougher and more temperature tolerant than PLA. Good all-rounder for functional parts.
